The café creates a unique vocational training experience for people with disabilities while reuniting patrons with a piece of Hudson history. Hattie's Café, Fountain & Gifts features an antique soda fountain and cabinetry from a downtown Hudson drug store that was restored and polished to make it look as it originally did in the 1940s. The antique soda fountain is used in making classic sodas, shakes, phosphates and floats. The café also offers a contemporary dine-in and carry-out menu that includes a variety of soups, salads and sandwiches. The store also features fair trade coffee and desserts, as well as a wide variety of fair trade gifts.
